Thermafiber is a light density, formaldehyde-free, mineral wool batt insulation product for fire protection and sound abatement in interior wall, floor, and ceiling assemblies. The insulation comes standard with a length of 48", and in six widths: 15", 16", 17", 23", 24", and 25". Batts are available in a range of thicknesses from 1.5" to 7", and have an NRC rating of up to 1.20, depending on the thickness.
