Meet the Candidate
(response in his own words)
I’ve been in Colorado Springs, Colo., for about 30 years now, practicing with a couple different firms. I joined AIA when I got licensed. I was involved early on in the Institute and got reengaged about 10 years ago. I joined my local board, serving as president and moved up through the state ranks. Then, I was fortunate to be elected as a regional director from the Western Mountain region in 2011. I served three years on the national board. One of my assignments there was the finance and audit committee. I thoroughly enjoyed that work. I’m also very much a proponent of what we’ve done in the change of governance and other issues with repositioning. I was excited when this opportunity came up to be able to continue onto the new board to make sure these changes really take hold.
