Healthcare company Novartis recently released the designs for the company’s building in Sydney. HDR | Rice Daubney (HDR Architecture acquired the Sydney firm in October) designed the six-story structure, which features a glass exterior with rounded timber and aluminum sections. The building is slated to be completed by late 2015.
This is not the company’s first foray into expertly designed campuses. The company’s main headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, features structures by Frank Gehry, FAIA, José Rafael Moneo, Hon. FAIA, and Tadao Ando, Hon. FAIA, as well as many others.
