Project Description
Overview
1. In apartments of these buildings, every two adjacent sunny rooms share a spacious square balcony, which is connected to the rooms with French windows and doors. The balconies of adjacent floors are staggered so that upper ones will not block the lower ones.
2. Such groundbreaking home design allows the balconies to extend a lot more outward, forming square balconies with larger upper spaces. The design also ensures that each sunny room has sufficient daylight, fresh air, vision of the sky and privacy.
3. These square balconies can also constitute two-room high hanging gardens, which make every apartment a villa.
4. This design has been patented (China Patent No. ZL 200710064148.1).
Descriptions of the Hanging Villa Apartments
This sculptural building has staggered balconies, which extend far more outward than other buildings. Thus, every family living here will have a spacious square balcony rather than the narrow ones in traditional apartment buildings. Being spacious and privacy-protecting, the outstretched balcony creates a feeling of both openness and closeness. The balcony can also be sealed with glass and changed into a greenhouse. In winter, the balcony can be used as a greenhouse for people to enjoy the warmth of the winter sunshine; while in spring, summer and autumn, with all or most windows opened, the balcony will become an open terrace which allows people to dine, chat and relax together around a round table under the blue sky or at a starry night. Each sunny room has large French windows so as to let in more light and make the high blue sky seen from indoors (living rooms and bedrooms). In short, the horizontal stretching structure creates a romantic atmosphere, demonstrating the elegance and comfort of life.
