Floating the bow of a ship with cedar siding, this 1,000 sf., two-story addition to the back of this house in Culver City almost doubled the size of the house. By extending the hallway and adjoining the kitchen, the first floor den is inviting and spacious. It’s multiple wood windows and double doors outside make the space an indoor-outdoor play area. Following the custom CNC-milled cedar banister by firmdesign upstairs finds a new, spacious upstairs master suite and deck. The master bath has cedar accent walls and vintage-style tub and sink with bright accent colors the client painted themselves.
