Targetti Acquires Louis Poulsen

Florence-based Targetti Sankey S.p.A. has announced its acquisition of Louis Poulsen, based in Copenhagen. The transaction is expected to be finalized in early September 2007. The acquisition will allow Targetti to strengthen its position in continental Europe, expand its presence to Northern Europe, reinforce its presence in the United States and Japan, and create commercial and industrial synergies. In other Targetti news, Dan True has been promoted to director of sales for Targetti North America. True will be responsible for North American commercial sales.
