Royal Philips Electronics has announced its acquisition of entertainment industry lighting manufacturer Lighting Technologies International (LTI), headquartered in Los Angeles. The transaction should be completed in the fourth quarter of 2007, and LTI will become part of Philips’ Special Lighting Applications business group.
Hunter Douglas has agreed to acquire terracotta ventilated-faç0ade manufacturer NBK Ceramic, headquartered in Emmerich, Germany. Hunter Douglas plans to add NBK production facilities in Portugal, Asia, and Latin America in 2008.
