Our methodology involves a rigor that responds to the desires of the client, to the character of the institution, and to the means with which to build. We explore alternative solutions as a way of uncovering possibilities and eliminating problems. The firm’s work ranges greatly in scale and program. In each case we believe responsible and exceptional architecture comes from the search for the solutions that respond to the particular circumstances inherent in each situation. We are interested in the particularities of the place whether natural or man-made, in the emotive qualities of materials and details, and in the possibilities for a human and pleasurable experience for the user.
