CORSINI STARK ARCHITECTS is a small, diversified, LosAngeles-based full-service design firm with principal involvement at every phase of professional
practice.
We believe that design is a series of complex problems to be solved with an agenda beyond art—that contextual relevance and functionality are pre-requisites
for good design. We strive to seamlessly integrate building and site, form and space, light and material, style and use.
Rick and Anthony have collaborated since 1997 and combined bring over forty years of professional experience in master-planning, retail and restaurant
design, institutional and multi-family housing, higher education facilities, historic preservation and adaptive re-use, and urban infill mixed-use development.
Recent firm recognition includes design awards from the L.A. Business Council, Southern California Development Forum, and the Los Angeles chapter of the
American Institute of Architects (AIA)
Rick Corsini, AIA
Rick was born in Los Angeles and received his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly
Pomona. His work has been published nationally and internationally, and in addition to over 20 years of professional practice, he has held faculty appointments
at schools of architecture including Cal Poly Pomona, Woodbury University, and most recently, the University of Southern California.
Anthony Stark, RA
Tony was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. He was project architect for the Jerde Partnership for
numerous retail and mixed-use projects in the U.S. and abroad—including Universal CityWalk, Los Angeles; the Newport City Master Plan, Jersey City; and
Prince’s Wharf in Auckland, New Zealand—before establishing his own firm in 1990.
