Firm Description

This project was started by the people of Kamakura-yama, who were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Kumamoto Earthquake, in order to give energy to the people in the affected areas by creating a place where people can easily make ikebana anytime and anywhere.

Like Jugen's wheelbarrow for the reconstruction of Todaiji Temple, this project is to create an assembled mobile tea room that can be carried by car, and to send out the wishes of flower arrangers to the world.

Society has changed a lot since the coronavirus.
In my work I talk to investors and private clients.
We have seen a change in attitudes from inbound to living and working spaces.

The future is now.
I think we are entering an era of mobility and private space.

As an architecture, it has a function as a tearoom.
It can be used for a variety of purposes.
It has a role as a vase and an installation.

So we designed a variable mobile tearoom combining a vase, mobile and temporary installation. The structure is made of wood and woodwork composed of basic units of 910 x 910 mm, like Todaiji Temple, to show the beauty of the structure.

We will make a pilgrimage to various locations to hold workshops and ikebana classes to promote the beauty of ikebana. We are also considering partnering with corporate sponsors to promote each location by driving the cars we wish to advertise in conjunction with the flower show.
