Founded in 1984, TVA Architects is a Portland, Oregon based architecture firm of 38 architects, designers, and staff. The practice has four leading principals, including, founding principal Robert Thompson, FAIA; Tim Wybenga, LEED AP; Pam Saftler, AIA, IIDA; and Mandy Butler, RA, AIA, NCARB. With a portfolio that includes projects ranging from designing the Nike World Headquarters to several of Portland’s most recognizable towers to residential, higher education, corporate, retail, and healthcare/lab projects, TVA’s depth of influence expands to both public and private clients. TVA is a studio that is fueled by a passion for built form in the modernist style and has evolved into a leading design firm in the Pacific Northwest, garnering major architectural design commissions throughout the United States and Asia.
