The following is a Dec. 21 press release from ARCHITECT's parent company, Zonda, announcing the renewal of ARCHITECT's partnership with The American Institute of Architects.
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Zonda, formerly known as Hanley Wood | Meyers Research, today announced a one-year renewal of their strategic partnership. ARCHITECT will continue to be identified as “The Journal of the American Institute of Architects."
"We're thrilled to extend our relationship with the AIA for another year, and ARCHITECT is proud to stand with AIA to advance our shared goals of shining a light on gender and racial inequity in the industry, by offering a diverse and inclusive platform to all who have ideas for improvement," said Jeff Meyers, CEO of Zonda. "Further, we'll continue to work together to provide innovative and engaging content for architects while aligning with the AIA's guiding pillar of sustainability and harnessing the power of digital-first platforms."
"Our research shows that ARCHITECT magazine is a valued part of AIA membership,” said Robert Ivy, CEO/EVP of AIA. “We look forward to working with ARCHITECT to tell more of the profession’s stories of design excellence, technical achievement, and commitment to meaningfully and comprehensively addressing the climate crisis and dismantling systemic racial injustice in the profession and in society.”
