Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the May 14–16 AIA Conference on Architecture 2020 has been postponed until further notice. Last year's participants in the AIA+ARCHITECT speakers series included Roman Mars of the 99% Invisible podcast; Nathalie Devries, FAIA, and Jacob Vanrijs, FAIA, founding partners of MVRDV; AIA Chief Economist Kermit Baker; and Michelle Turner of Google.

CarbonPositive’21 CONFERENCE and EXPO

The CarbonPostive’20 CONFERENCE and EXPO was a first-of-its-kind event that provided a “how-to” for dramatically and rapidly reducing the embodied and operational carbon emissions that will stem from unprecedented global construction and urbanization over the next four decades. The conference is an interdisciplinary, practice-focused event for architects, planners, engineers, builders, developers, and policymakers.
