LAS VEGAS, Oct. 3, 2018—JCJ Architecture, an architecture, planning and interior design firm, today announced its expansion into the Las Vegas market. The firm, which has been in operation since 1936, has led hundreds of gaming and hospitality projects across the U.S. and internationally. JCJ's new location, strategically located in the "Entertainment Capital of the World," marks the firm's ninth office.
The Las Vegas–based team is led by design principal and managing director Robert Gdowski, AIA, who returns to Las Vegas, where he served as director of design for Marnell Corrao Associates, before relocating to China to oversee HOK's Asia practice, formerly BBG-BBGM's Shanghai studio. Gdowski's prolific career spans work for clients such as Caesars, SLS, Wynn, Pinnacle, Atlantis, Four Seasons, Marriott and Hilton. He brings extensive international leadership as a design-oriented architect and planner who has a unique understanding of luxury hospitality, gaming and mixed-use developments.

Mike Larson, AIA, NCARB, MBA—Project Director, Architecture / Studio Leader: Having spent more than 15 years in Las Vegas, Mike joins JCJ from Klai Juba Wald. Past projects include properties such as The Cosmopolitan, The LINQ Entertainment District, Daylight Beach Club, LAVO Restaurant and Nightclub, Tivoli Village, Pala Casino, Resort & Spa and Live! Casino and Hotel in Maryland.
Kris Irwin, NCIDQ, LEED AP, RID—Project Director, Interior Design: Kris brings extensive experience in Las Vegas interior design and working on the Owner's side for Station Casinos, where she oversaw the design and completion of Aliante Station and Fontainebleau Resorts. Most recently, Kris was Director of Design with Seminole Gaming, where she oversaw the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Tampa Hard Rock Hotel & Casino expansions, among other projects.
