Project Description
This past year our company K. A. Clason Fine Woodworking, renovated a house on Black Cat island on Lake Winnipesaukee, located in New Hampshire. The entire house was gutted down to the bare studs and then the re-imagination of this family home began. The house was updated throughout with a more modern look mixed with classic essence. Each full bath was given a custom shower and a custom douglas fir vanity. One of the quintessential features of the house was the kitchen. The kitchen was installed with custom made douglas fir cabinets and soap stone countertops, sink, and back splash, giving the kitchen a very nice color contrast between the two pallets used. The kitchen was also made with an open design making it considerably more easy to entertain family and friends from the kitchen seamlessly to the dining room. The kitchen features a new style of wire LED lighting that accentuates all the features of the kitchen very nicely and efficiently. The back wall of the kitchen was made with large cabinets going nearly floor to ceiling, that act as a pantry and distinguish the area in which the kitchen situates itself, and also adds a sort of hallway leading to a guest bedroom and second floor bathroom. Quickly nearby the kitchen is a seating area with bar including an ice maker and drink cooler great for small gatherings. The Kitchen, dining room, and living space are all connected and look out two sliding glass doors and very large windows onto the lake.
