Project Description
Brightview at Greentree is an exciting senior living community located in central New Jersey. The design for Brightview at Greentree is based on the concept of a grand yet comfortable manor house, with luxury appointments and superior amenities. The opulent living rooms, spacious dining venues and lavish gardens, are the perfect accompaniment to the Bellagio-themed bar and lounge. The entire resident experience is enhanced by the seamless flow of the indoor amenities to the outdoor patio, fire pit and grill areas. The community has a fitness center with adjacent spa featuring massage and beauty facilities. Outdoor living features include patios, courtyards and gardens with trellises and walking paths.
Fitting the program of a 171 units plus amenities on the tight site required a creative site plan which took advantage of the site’s topopgraphy. Creative site design transformed large stormwater management device into a beautiful water feature
The site plan resulted in a vertical solution which slid into the site, creating another challenge of adjacency solved by stacking the various program elements shared between the independent and assisted living residences.
In October 2009, Brightview Evesham received the Department of Energy’s Designed to Earn Energy Star certification. In August 2011, the project went beyond “Designed to” and achieved the actual Energy Star Certification. “Buildings that achieve an ENERGY STAR energy performance score of 75 or higher—meaning they are in the top 25 percent for energy efficiency in the nation compared with similar buildings—and are professionally verified to meet current indoor environment standards are eligible to apply for the ENERGY STAR” (Energy Star, 2012).
