Project Description
The BWD Group is one of the largest insurance brokers in the USA. Their many clients include the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League. The BWD Group’s new 70,000 square foot office headquarters located in Plainview, New York, reflects this sporting clientele and athletic image throughout their new, exciting and creative corporate offices. From the overall interior architecture to the workstation layouts and design, every detail was designed to offer the best in workflow, personal atmosphere, acoustical, visual and thermal comfort. The 170 workstations 30 private offices were a collaboration among Steelcase, Knoll and ourselves. The executive level showcases their many sports and business memorabilia collected over many years. Floating glass and wood cabinets throughout the space highlights these sports paraphernalia. The efficient and work productive meeting and corporate conference rooms are the very best in corporate communication technology. After three generations of doing business, BWD Group and this new corporate facility has positioned themselves for even greater growth in the years to come. The project is complete and the insurance giants have moved in and are flourishing in their new space.
