Project Description
Replete with outdoor terraces on each of its three floors, this three-bedroom penthouse loft was designed to capitalize on the abundant exterior space and stunning views. A new divided-light, energy efficient window-wall system, with French doors and louvered awnings, was employed to reduce energy consumption and enhance both the interior and exterior space. Walnut doors, trim, cabinetry, and grille-work; dark oak wood floors, luxurious specialty plaster, and wall paper finishes were employed throughout to create the contemporary, yet warm and comfortable interior the client was after. The attention to detail extends outside to the garden terraces, which include new stone pavers, an outdoor fireplace, a hot tub, and a pergola. State-of-the-art audio and video projection systems, a built-in home computer system, a custom wine cellar, and specialty lighting for the client’s extensive art collection are the finishing touches for this 21st-century home.
