Project Description
L EG O 2 8 is a conceptual project inspired by the great work of a professional team which offers exceptional volunteer work on a daily basis with special care to children.
L E G O 2 8 is an adaptation and expansion proposal focused on flexibility in function and mobility in layout and mode of adaptation in relation to the positioning of volumes putting in the first place the user and architectural functionality. Recyclable and economical materials such as the use of containers and local materials make this conceptual element easily adaptable. The general form is quite fluid in the definition of space inspired by the elements with which each child begins to define space and make it more attractive full color full life as are legos.
The use of Lego is also associated with the mobility of the possibility of expansion over the years depending on the demands and needs that arise. The design is rigorous in terms of the wrapping and the way of psycho-emotional use in the penetration of the sunbathing element. In the urban aspect, it creates easy access to adaptation to the urban silhouette and environmental sustainability. The conceptual design includes a concrete base structure equipped with five containers stretched on two levels and accessible with continuous ramps. The functional division includes two multifunctional rooms which can easily be converted into four rooms for individual or group use while the first floor is divided for administrative use.
L E G O 2 8 is an architectural reflection on the creation of a landmark with the possibility of replication in different places.
