Project Description
MIA’s Pantry reflects local Art-Deco style and combines Marriott’s F&B On Demand and Fresh Bites initiatives to provide more convenient dining options at Miami Airport Marriott.
Guests at the busy Miami Airport Marriott now have more round-the-clock quick dining and food delivery options thanks to the hotel’s new Pantry – named MIA’s Pantry (MIA’s). CORE worked with the lobby designer, ownership, and Marriott team to create a unique identity for the 2,100 SF Pantry that reflects Miami’s iconic style, specifically exploring Miami Beach’s exuberant Art-Deco architecture. Formerly a Starbucks coffee shop, this Pantry provides greater convenience and extended F&B service for guests arriving or leaving on early morning and late evening flights when the typical 3-a-day restaurant is not open. CORE previously worked with Marriott to develop the Pantry design prototype and overall strategy to address evolving guest demographics and increase F&B sales across the brand. The Pantry initiative supplements and leverages existing F&B operations by offering guests additional options for fast-casual dining and food delivery within the hotel, complementing traditional room service. MIA’s Pantry at the Miami Airport Marriott is a continuation of CORE’s work with Marriott to expand this effort across their collection of full service hotels.
