Penny Pritzker’s new headquarters for the Pritzker Realty Group and PSP Capital Partners sought to create a transformative environment for her new business. The team developed a solution with a strong focus on collaboration, state-of-the-art technology to support their business functions, and an emphasis on hospitality. The client requested that the environment create a subtle and sophisticated backdrop for the display of her extensive art collection.
The organization of private offices focuses on unobstructed visual access between office and workstation positions and an emphasis on views of the city and river. Large glass sliding doors and clear glass office fronts reveal striking panoramic views of the city and bring natural light into the interior open office areas.
The strategic placement of executive office suites, meeting spaces and support functions enhance collaborative functions and create architectural vistas that frame significant pieces of art. A custom light cove was developed to provide supplemental lighting and a discreet yet flexible lighting to highlight works of art. The public spaces focus on a sense of graciousness, discreet hospitality services and state of the art technology.
Refined neutral finishes, minimalist detailing and sophisticated furnishings create an elegant space that reinforces the company’s image and stature.
