This unique Spanish Colonial custom home will be one of a kind. It is a Green Build home as certified by the City of Scottsdale. Groundbreaking will occur in June 2014. It will have views of Pinnacle Peak and the McDowell Mountains as well as natural Sonoran desert views. This location offers the perfect backdrop for our client's (Bill & Carolyn Shine) second home that reflects the Shine's love of both the desert and the old world stylings of a spanish colonial villa. This home will eventually serve as a permanent residence as well as a welcoming getaway for their family and friends. The project, however, is not without challenges. The site has a major 404 wash that runs through two sides of the property which we will have to build "wash" walls to make sure the lot doesn't get flooded and it has forced us to build the home in a unique "C" shaped orientation. We have a true circular drive that add to the villa style as well as a cozy welcoming entry for guest. This home is located in the DC Ranch community in Scottsdale, Arizona and is being built by award winning builder Desert Sky Development Custom Homes.
