Project Description
The Client had in mind a four bedroom villa with a home office and large reception area for dinner parties. In the Lebanese tradition of hospitality, seldom are meals prepared for the immediate family alone but typically include friends and other guests. The concept sees the kitchen as the focal point from which the other areas branch out: The formal dining area followed by the reception area on the one side, and on the other, the breakfast area followed by the living room. The family room engages the outdoor pool area such that the latter’s presence is an integral part of the experience. There is a garden-accessible shower area under the grand staircase and a studio apartment in the back. An enclosed quiet courtyard provides a cooler environment for the warmer days.
