Project Description

HED is the Executive Architect for this major mixed-use development designed by the Jerde Partnership on Wilshire Boulevard which includes retail, residential, and an extensive parking podium. This LEED Silver project transforms the Wilshire/Vermont intersection in Koreatown into a major transit oriented hub. The site is located across the street from the Wilshire/Vermont Metro station. The Mid-Wilshire Corridor is quickly becoming a vibrant, 24-hour, live-work setting in part due to this very successful development.

The project consists of 464 multi-family units in two high-rise towers, 23 stories and 29 stories respectively with approximately 41,000 square feet of retail space. At the base of the project is a seven-level podium that accommodates 896 total parking spaces for the public, retail, and residents. The Vermont also provides approximately 18,000 square feet of publicly accessible “outdoor space” fronting directly on Wilshire Boulevard.
