Project Description
“The College of Sciences & Technology Building will be a center for academic exploration and a catalyst for community collaborations,” according to UHD President, Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz. “Its labs and learning spaces will elevate UHD’s ability to prepare the next generation of Houston’s scientists and innovators.
Centria's metal panels contribute to the University of Houston System’s only LEED Gold-certified building that will serve as a model for sustainability in Houston.
Concept Series single-skin rainscreen panels feature concealed fasteners and a common-lock joint that allows the panels to be integrated with each other. UDH features 5 different panels styles and two different colors to create a unique and seamless sophisticated look.
UDH was named a finalist for the 2020 Houston Business Journal Landmark Award in the Education Facility category.
