With almost 8,000 houses certified under its LEED for Homes program and another 28,000 in the pipeline, the U.S. Green Building Council is gaining traction within residential markets, and it will again put the spotlight on green homes during its upcoming Greenbuild Residential Summit—as part of the USGBC’s annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo being held in Chicago Nov. 17–19. The Residential Summit, to be held on Nov. 18, will include 15 educational sessions devoted to sustainable homes as well as a keynote address.
