Zhou Li
Lightfair was the host for the 32nd Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards presented May 6, 2015, at an evening program and reception held at Gotham Hall in New York City. Fifteen projects four Awards of Excellence, 10 Awards of Merit, and 1 Special Citation were recognized from a field of more than 200 international entries. The Radiance Award, the program’s highest honor, went to BUME Perfect Illumination Design & Engineering Company for their work on the Han Show Theatre in Wuhan City, Hubei, China.

Projects were reviewed and evaluated by a group of lighting and architectural professionals at the IALD’s headquarter offices in Chicago in December 2014. The jury members were as follows: Gilberto Franco, Franco Associados, Sao Paulo, Brazil; Lewis Goetz, Baskervill, Metro Washington, D.C.; Stephen Lees, Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design, New York; Maureen Moran, MCLA Architectural Lighting Design, Washington, D.C.; Leslie North, Aurora Lighting Design, Graylake, Ill., Lee Prince, Light & Design Associates, London; Jason Rosenblatt, Nelson, Chicago.
