
Eaton’s 39th Annual Source Awards were announced on April 25, 2016, during an awards luncheon at Lightfair, which took place in San Diego. The program recognizes both professional and student work.
Bjarke Ingels, founding partner of BIG Bjark Ingels Group was the keynote speaker. His talk, titled “Social Infrastructure,” highlighted the ways in which the firm’s work combines programmatic and technical innovation in architecture to addresses global issues such as climate change, population growth, and renewable resources.
This year’s Source Awards included four winners in the Professionals – Commercial category, two winners in the Professionals - Residential category, and six winners in the student category. The 2016 winning projects were:
