Genlyte to Acquire JJI

Genlyte Group, manufacturer of lighting fixtures and controls for the residential, commercial, and industrial markets, has announced its acquisition of JJI Lighting Group, one of the largest privately held lighting fixture companies in the U.S. JJI’s products, offered through 14 brands, will complement the product offerings of Genlyte Group’s 28 brands. JJI will be operated as an independent division of Genlyte, and existing management, sales representation, and customers will remain in place.
