When a power failure occurs, this fail-safe device converts up to 20 standard fixtures to emergency lighting by connecting them to a 24-hour emergency power distribution panel via the AC system or a standby generator. The HEPC emergency power control switching unit has a white custom faceplate and can be ceiling or wall mounted. A test switch can be depressed to check the unit’s operation, and an internal audible alarm indicates if emergency power is interrupted. A monthly “self-test” option is also available.
