NYSERDA to Fund SSL Development

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has posted a program opportunity notice (PON) issuing a call for proposals for “Solid-State Lighting Research, Development, Demonstration & Standards/Enabling Activities,” PON #1207, offering a total of $1 million in funding. The organization anticipates granting multiple awards of up to $200,000 per project.

NYSERDA seeks to fund development projects for new high-efficiency solid-state lighting (SSL) products/systems, projects that demonstrate and evaluate high-efficiency SSL systems, and projects that test SSL products or systems and make the results available to a broad audience.
