From June 20 through June 27, the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons the New School for Design in New York will offer an Intensive Lighting Design Masters Studio. Geared toward practicing professionals, the week-long course is an opportunity to immerse oneself in a studio environment and refresh one’s knowledge and skills using some of the latest techniques in lighting design today, all while taking advantage of the resources that Parsons and New York City have to offer. The workshop’s course development is supported with the aid of a grant from the Illuminating Engineering Society.
Classes meet daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m., in addition to select evening activities, and will be taught by Parsons’ Lighting Program faculty. Enrollment is targeted to 12 people and the course fee is $1,700. The registration link is available at: https://continuingeducation.newschool.edu/flexibleregistration/index.jsp?frc=NC&q=crn:1638
