Leviton has announced that Philip Warner has been hired as the new vice president general manager of the Leviton Lighting Business Unit and “…will replace the business unit’s current VP GM, John Ranshaw, who will be retiring on February 23, 2018.” Warner is tasked with leading the business as well as developing and expanding new business opportunities and partnerships. Leviton set up its new business unit in Spring 2017 “…to realign its recent acquisitions of JCC, Contech Lighting, and Intense Lighting, under one executive leadership team.”

“We are excited that Philip will be joining us in this role to further build, lead and drive the Leviton Lighting Business Unit,” said Daryoush Larizadeh, Leviton’s president and chief operating officer. “With Philip having more than 25 years of experience in the lighting industry, both in Europe and the Americas, we look forward to having him work with the broader leadership team to aggressively drive the division’s overall strategy and vision, a core pillar of the company’s growth plan and continued success.”

Prior to joining Leviton, Warner was at Osram, where he served as VP GM for the Americas region of OSRAM Global Management. In a press statement Warner said, “To be a part of this highly respected organization and lighting division is a great honor. I would like to thank John Ranshaw, who has aligned all four lighting businesses into one successful unit. I look forward to bringing drive, passion and experience to ensure that the Leviton Lighting Business Unit will continue to grow and provide the most innovative solutions in the industry.”
