Bob, Blå Station
Swedish furniture manufacturer Blå Station’s Bob seating system, designed by Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius, is assembled through narrow slices of flexible cushions that can be set up in a variety of shapes, including a modular sofa (shown) and a chair. Five basic modules—measuring 10″ at their widest with a seat height of 15″—can be combined into seven additional building elements via built-in connection fittings, to create new pieces. The base of each module is made of FSC-certified plywood and polyurethane molded foam. The seating system can be specified in a variety of the manufacturer’s solid fabric or leather options. blastation.com
