Chicago Faucets has added the Self Sustaining Power System (SSPS), an energy-efficient turbine power option, to its line of electronic faucets. SSPS creates and stores power every time water is used by employing a six-pole magnet and a dual-inductor rotor turbine. The energy is stored in a rechargeable storage device that mounts under a sink and can be attached to a wall. The system comes with a backup battery and voltage regulator for smart power selection; an advanced electronic system regulates supply between primary and backup power sources. SPSS installs on deck-mount or wall-mount fittings. chicagofaucets.com
