Drape and Rise, the first in a planned series of nonwoven textiles from Maharam, are created using polymers embossed to form texture using traditional rollers. Designed by Munich-based industrial designer Konstantin Grcic, the embossed patterns feature a tip-printed color that contrasts that of the textile field; a dye applied to select points in the embossed impression provides added dimensionality.
