Suited for parking garages or high-traffic vehicular entrances, the Extreme 300 Series MicroCoil Grille by CornellCookson needs 50% less headroom than other similar products on the market. The system’s compact operator has no roller chains or sprockets, and its variable-frequency drive ensures a smooth start and stop function, according to the manufacturer. This high-cycle grille comes with a springless shaft, thus reducing maintenance requirements, and operates at speeds of up to 24″ per second. The 300 Series complies to the UL-325 standards for occupant safety, and comes in 12′-by-30′ or 16′-by-28′ sizes.
