Newly debuted in the U.S. at this year's ICFF, Australian design studio Articolo's Fizi Wall Sconce is a mouth-blown glass fixture whose suspended bubbles cast ethereal shapes when lit. The sphere measures 5" in diameter, and the entire fixture is 10.27" tall. The 1.5W wall sconce comes in a color temperature of 2700K, and is dimmable. Kamakura Collection, AJK Design Studio
Kamakura is Oakland, Calif.–based AJK Design Studio's newest collection of metal grilles, panels, and ceiling squares. Offered in two patterns called Hasu (shown)—a denser compilation of shapes—and Mizu—relaxed shapes in smaller clusters—Kamakura was named after the Japanese city, and inspired by the abstract forms of floating lotus leaves. The collection can be specified in five metal finishes, including brushed or polished aluminum steel and powdercoated stainless steel.
