This year's WantedDesign Manhattan, part of the two-week-long NYCxDesign takeover of New York City, showcased the work of 170 designers from around the world at the Terminal Stores building, in Chelsea, from May 7 to 17. From furniture to light fixtures and more, there was plenty to see, including these products below.

Pyrs, Lake + Wells
From the Chicago-based design studio whose name more or less pinpoints its location in the city, this versatile LED luminaire combines organic crystal forms with machined brass. Pyrs emits a light that is scattered by its prism structure, creating a dynamic reflection of glass onto its environment. The luminaire can be suspended, mounted as a wall sconce, or used as a table lamp. Available in hand-applied finishes: blackened, bronzed, and golden bronze. lakeandwells.com

Ice-Cast Bronze Cocktail Table #1, Steven Haulenbeek
The Ice-Cast Bronze Cocktail Table #1 is formed using ice molds hand carved by Haulenbeek, a Chicago-based designer. The process entails cutting a recess into a block of solid ice, into which hot casting wax is poured. Once the wax cools, Haulenbeek uses the lost-wax process to cast the mold into bronze. Finally, each distinctive piece is given a faux patina and finished for a polished look. stevenhaulenbeek.com

The aesthetically simple Kanguro from Argentinian brand Espina Corona stands out for its enveloping form and use of raw materials, including wood from South American forests. espinacorona.com.ar

Delirious, Fara Farhang
Brightly colored, fluorescent seats top a rigid aluminum base in Iranian-American designer Fara Farhang's Delirious. Available in four colors, the glow-in-the-dark seats appear to be melting right off the stool's legs. faranakfarhang.com
