Product: Foscarini Magneto

1 MIN READ

Since the mid-20th century, magnets have made refrigerator doors into creative outlets for children and adults alike. The invisible forces that magnets possess helped compel industrial designer Giulio Iacchetti to incorporate one into the Magneto table and reading lamps for Foscarini. A single magnetic ball nests into round niches in the metal stand and serves as the connection point and adjustment mechanism for the fixture head. The cable can extend or be extracted from the stand in order to position the head at different heights. The angle of the fixture head can be positioned up for ambient light or down for focused light produced by one 1.4W LED. Available in red or gray, Magneto comes in a 15″-tall table lamp and a 47-1/4″-tall reading lamp. • foscarini.com
