  The creased roof of the Sarasota Herald Tribune headquarters is the building's signature. The design takes advantage of the local climate by integrating a deck accessible from the newsroom and by cladding the building in glass, so the sunlight can illuminate the interior during the day.   The newspaper is not the only tenant in the building. The local news channel, SNN Channel 6, has a blackbox studio from which they broadcast the nightly news. The inclusion of the soundstage in the building allows ready access to the newsrooms and research departments for the evening's stories.
