Mission Hospital Acute Care Tower and Chapel

This new Acute Care Tower provides an updated image for Mission Hospital, redefining the hospital as the most technologically advanced facility in the community. The four-story Tower is prominently sited at the front of the campus, creating a new visibility and identity. It is connected to the existing hospital with a 175-foot pedestrian bridge. Exterior metal cladding and the exposed braced frame convey a sense of the state-of-the-art services contained within. The project brings to Mission Hospital next generation innovations in healthcare, including an MRI suite, CT scanner and nuclear medicine. Patient capacity is also increased with 28 medical/surgical beds and 20 ICU beds. For more details and images of Mission Hospital Acute Care Tower, visit ARCHITECT‘s Project Gallery.
