Product: Surfaces Murano

Credit: Nauro Rezende Jr.

Murano, Italy, became a glassmaking hub in the 1200s when Venice ordered all glassmakers out of its limits under the guise of reducing fire hazard. Using historical techniques, Miami-based Surfaces hand cuts and hand fuses individual glass strands to create wall tiles, which range in size from 2″ square to 3″ by 12″. surfaces.net
