Smith & Fong Co. has developed a new soy-based adhesive to use with its line of Plyboo bamboo plywood and flooring. The Soybond adhesive system is the result of two years of research and development, and is said to offer advantages over chemical-based alternatives in terms of in indoor air quality, workplace environmental safety, and ease of disposal compared to chemical-based compounds.
