OMG Roofing Products’ OMG Purlin Fastener is designed for use in 12- to 18-gauge structural steel and are available in lengths from 3 3/4 to 8 inches. A low profile hex head has a smooth surface to prevent damage to the membrane. The fastener features a 3/4-inch-long drill point that allows the screw to quickly drill through the purlin before the threads engage in the roof. This design reduces point burnout and eliminates jacking between the purlin and standing seam metal. They are coated with a corrosion-resistant coating.
