Metl-Span has introduced the CFR Insul-Solar comprehensive insulated solar standing seam roof system. Its thin-film solar laminate is fused to the surface of the roofing panel substrate and can withstand winds up to 160 mph. The flexibility and durability make it suitable for metal roofs where expansion and contraction are considerations. No roof penetrations or additional structural support is required. Widths are available in 36 and 42 inches with various panel thicknesses and lengths.
