Its two-way design allows it to adapt to any door without modifications, and the Steel Hawk retrofits to 4900/4500/4700 Adams Rite deadlatches (using the same strike). It is compatible with existing handles, paddles, and levers, adapts to 12V, 16V, and 24V DC, and exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements.
