Registration for the American Institute of Architects's third I Look Up Film Challenge begins on June 1. This year's program theme, "Blueprint for Change," seeks for films examining community-improvement work. At Friday's keynote session at the AIA Conference on Architecture 2017, the Institute kicked off the 2017 program with a screening of the film "Midtown. A Blueprint for Better." The AIA announced the winners of the 2016 I Look Up Film Challenge in September. "Arch 335: Rebuilding Medcamps" by Brad Deal, Robert Brooks, and Michael Tolar won the grand prize, "20×10" by Patrick Higgins and Kurt Hanley took second place/runner-up, and "Build Back Better" by OPN Architects and Sam Fathallah received third prize.
