Readers of this magazine have seen photographer Timothy Hursley's work countless times before. He has visited the studios of Antoine Predock, FAIA, and Jeanne Gang, FAIA, and shot buildings by Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, Marlon Blackwell Architect, and Moshe Safdie, FAIA, among many others. But New York gallery Garvey|Simon is currently displaying a body of work perhaps less familiar to architects. "[I]t is the work that Hursley does in between assignments, while roaming around cities and more frequently on long drives throughout the rural south and other parts of the country," the gallery's website explains."Timothy Hursley: Tainted Lens" closes on Saturday.
"Timothy Hursley: Tainted Lens" is on view at Garvey|Simon in New York through June 10.
