Kwan Henmi Architecture/Planning was founded in 1980 by Sylvia Kwan, FAIA, LEED® AP and Denis Henmi, FAIA, LEED® AP, NCARB. Our firm is dedicated to providing high-quality architecture, interior design and planning services, with specialized expertise in residential, commercial, educational and transportation projects. As demonstrated by our portfolio, we are able to successfully complete a broad array of designs specific to program needs. We believe that collaboration with the client during all development phases is a crucial component in successful architectural design. Our firm values are based on interacting with, and gaining input from the surrounding community on design issues, and having good working relationships with our sub-consultants. The strength of Kwan Henmi’s knowledge and expertise not only lies in the body of work we have accomplished over the years, but with the individuals working on each project - they are the true contributors to the quality of each design.
